Common Sense Camper says:

Nice lid!

Justin Clark says:

What is a good company that makes quality Boonie hats?

Kevin Batewell says:

I’ve had my hat for over 3 years. Love it. Will probably get a darker color next.

47kcr says:

I prefer the 1960’s boonie hat. It has a larger brim and does the same thing. If I get hot I wet it down and it cools me off. And it keeps the rain out of my eyes. Plus you can get them for like 5 bucks at your local surplus store.

kenny cadarett says:

my first hat is better than that one   I found it in lake Elsinore it was FREE  it has the snaps on the side with the vents I have a Dickies  hat almost the same thing

knives are cool says:

Gary Wagner says:

natew73 says:

I have the same hat. It’s awesone

Michael Reed says:

Is it the most comfertable version of the airflow hats?
I tried on a tilley in a Gander mountain and fell in love. It is Not the same one that REI carries in a store.
I want to find that same hat that felt so amazing. It was a game changer but I didn’t write down the model number.
At the time, I didn’t know there are a variety.

Wheels gone Wild says:

Best hats in the world…

Sierra Two Zero says:

Great hat! I liked your observation of the use of dark colors in the field. As a member of a backcountry Search and Rescue team in central Idaho I personally have seen their limitations. Light colors in the summer and dark colors in the winter is a good rule of thumb. Great channel keep up the fine work!

Jeff Buzzard says:

I really like that hat, I will check them out, thanks John.

Revolver Girl says:

Great hat. I went out to the Tilley site and took a look. They make hats for women as well. I think it might just be time for a new bush hat. Thanks for the tip.

TAC-HILL says:

its a very nice hat! i like the idea of the name plate and you’re right there is still good people left in the world. hidden pocket is a great addition as well!

Jim Cyr says:

good stuff, I’ll be uploading my tilley hat collection later this month. Great products.

Doc O says:

Tenchi Arizonia says:

+Wingman115 John that is a nice hat, between the khaki and the olive drab i must say i like the look of the olive drab more but both colors look really nice.

John Campbell says:

Tilley make great outdoor pants and shirts as well.

Irish Zombie Nation says:

Nice looking lid. I’m a hat guy as well, have a wall full in my bedroom next to the gun cabinet. I’m old school in that aspect. Never leave the house without your sidearm and hat. I’m going to have to try one of these out. Thanks for the review brother.

cscoffie says:

Now I have a new set of hats to check out, and if they are half as good as you say, new additions to the collection. My wife will be so thrilled. LOL. Thanks Wingman!

Dwight Kalezra says:

As always, thanks for the video. I am always eagerly awaiting your next video! Thank you for uploading a hat video! Not many bushcraft stations here on youtube do clothing videos let alone hats. I feel that it is something often overlooked when dealing with shelter.

LeRoy Engle says:

how about rain – does it hold up in the rain?

BlackRifle Survival says:

Well looks like I need to check out Tilly hats, that color is perfect for our location, and I’m a fan of lighter shades already. Great vid!
