Do a video on Gaga and Versace! Look through Gaga’s Born This Way Ball tour garderobe… its heavenly! And needs to be shared with Versace lovers! Donatella has been so good to Gaga and Gaga also got to wear the safety pin dress in its original Liz Hurley form.

Ming Cat says:

You are rocking that hat!! Love it.

Lala Diamond says:

Oh, Gianni Versace! So reminiscent for me. And what a tragedy and loss of great designer! I didn’t wear his clothes but always enjoyed his collections and shows back in ’90s.

SabrinaSpellman says:

I’ve been watching your video the entire day and I’m so glad I found your channel! Love you and your videos!! Keep it up! 🙂

Kiadora says:

Hi Dacob! :] Nice video! I loved the safety pin dress and the colorful, rainbowy trench coat the most! It’s sooo gorgeous! I love blink-blink things very much. 😀 I have few colorful pieces, a metallic, silvery skirt and… holographic stuff is just… oh my gooood! :DDD I love holographic things since I was like 10 years old. 😀 I was fascinated by CD’s we had at home back then. 😀 And now, I’d like to have holographic everything. 😀 Because it’s shifting rainbooows! So, as you can see, I’m really crazy about it. 😀 I bought too many holographic things, there’s no turning back! 😀 From holographic backpack and bag, to holographic wallet, t-shirt with holographic printing on it /which I’m wearing right now, by the way :D/ to… —drum rolls— holographic dress! Yes! Dress! It’s just so stunning. Oh, and sequins. I love sequins as well. And this dress has a sequins attached to it. And those sequins are holographic! And holographic = silver + rainbows! :DDD So… yeah… Oh, and by the way, I purchased a book. In english. It’s called “The secret of CHANEL No. 5”. So that’s the way how I learn english – watching your videos, writing these comments /haha/ and reading books in english, while having my dictionary opened all the time (and going to learn english at school, but that’s secondary). :’D Rip me (more like rip english andd grammar :’D). 😀 But anyways, have a nice day. :]

Christopher Arrieta says:

I love you finally a video that’s not chanel. I love all your videos but change was needed

Samantha Ferrari says:

Oh darling, that hat is incredible. What a fantastic piece!

Melinda Cooper says:

What a time period in fashion to travel back to…amazing pieces…..Gianni Versace really knew how to celebrate the curves of a woman’ s body. Unfortunately most fashion today is geared toward a straight body with no curves. For this reason, most of my fashion pieces are bought from vintage boutiques. I would definitely wear either of those Versace boots and that dress with the safety pins….to die for. ….. I have a love for pleated skirts so I was happy to see so many in this line. Such details, colors and patterns….go into this collection. Absolutely amazing. You must have been so excited to share this with us. You are so lucky to travel to amazing cities and countries to have access to these special exhibits. I have only one more thing to say. Please bring back the nineties…..!!!!! Everything was so perfect during that time. I will forever be in my nineties bubble. lol. xoxo

Daniel Hammond says:

I love the coat at 11:15am. It looked so stunning. At the time, I under-estimated Versace. I think it was the colour which then struck me as strident. My eye has since become accustomed to more colour, so I am now enjoying it. Also, the whole effect seemed over-bling to me back then. Now there is so much vulgarity in the world that Gianni’s opus seems almost restrained!
We are to have a Dior retrospective beginning in August. I LOATHE those dresses when I see photographs of real women wearing them. They seem to me an outrage against female empowerment, but on mannequins (plastic ones) in a museum I can relax, separate the design from the human rights and enjoy the dresses as art.
I am dazzled by that hat you are wearing.
Thank you for this amazing video.

Cardsmaster says:

Wow perfect timing. I Was watching versace videos earlier today and out of the BLUE this video came out. lovely.

invisiblegirl422 says:

What a magnificent collection! For the most part, the pieces look modern and stylish to my mind. It would be revolutionary if designers started again to represent the female form curves and all. I realize that most on the runway are mere teenagers, but the reality is that the majority of women do not represent that boyish figure naturally. If we have curves we must, you are right embrace them! Unfortunately , sometimes it does make shopping more difficult. Thank you so much for sharing this exhibition, I am inspired! Xoxo!

Germadgerton Joelane says:

dear dacob as much as i love watching your video about versace in the 90’s i just felt so bad for being born at the 2000 era , since i’ve only felt a brief moment of women wearing shoulder pads and geometrycal outfit or men with colorblocking and baggy shirt . But still what can we do fashion changes style remain …
*hint hint

audy2801 says:

Thank you for the video about Gianni Versace. It bring me back to memories of college days when I “starved” myself in order to buy those printed silk shirts.

P C says:

Super Dacob, LOVING this video! You must have drawn a lot of attention at the exhibit dressed in such iconic Versace with a touch of Chanel and Jeremy Scott! Thank you so much for the fun journey down memory lane! Gianni Versace just makes me happy…such a genius in his super abundant use of colors, patterns, and materials! Very telling that his clothes have passed the test of time…no fading…no rusting! I also appreciate your commentary on the importance of “loving our bodies” …”our temples”as you have said in previous videos. Truly sacred. Not to be cliché, but nevertheless it is true. “Beauty comes in all shapes and sizes.” I just went to a Degas and vintage milliners exhibit. The museum also had a bit of Renoir. Talk about curvy! 😉 It’s appalling how some in the Fashion Industry inflict nothing less than torture on their models to get them to a certain weight…All very physically and emotionally damaging. Sickens me.

anubhuti vyas says:

Hi Dacob, such a nice insightful video. Your comment on super thin model trend is spot-on, a crystal clear mindset we all need to adopt in this era of make believe
