How to use moisture and heat to reduce the size of a fitted baseball cap that is just a little too large. If you’ve stretched it too much or got the wrong size, this could help you tighten the cap by about 1/8 of a size.
NOTE: This technique will not provide a major amount of shrinkage. Other methods may do that, but also have side effects for the shape of the cap!

Another excellent vid, Doug! This is exactly the type of walk-through I was seeking after purchasing a Retro Classic in my size recently that was just ever so slightly loose. Excellent instructional videos – thank you so much for sharing your wisdom on all things New Era!
Could you do a video showing the difference between low crown version (on field, right?) and the regular one please?
Thank you thank you thank you. I’ve been waiting for videos like this. I appreciate it a lot.
Hey Doug do you think it’s possible to shrink a wool 7 1/2 down to a 7 3/8? Found a hat I love but it’s 1 size too big for me.
What about diamond era hats ?how a hard is it for those to shrink
Hi, I love your videos. They’re very informative and well done. Could you do a video on how you clean your caps?
How many hats do you own? Love the vids!
